Wieczysta Krakow appoints Zeljko Kopic as new manager

Wieczysta Krakow, a newly promoted club in the Polish Ekstraklasa, has appointed Croatian manager Zeljko Kopic to replace Kazimierz Moskal. The decision follows the dismissal of Moskal after only five matches into the season, during which the team sat second from the bottom of the table with three points.

Kopic, who has previously managed clubs such as Dinamo Zagreb, Hajduk Split, and Dinamo Bucharest, has signed a contract valid until the end of the season. The agreement reportedly includes an automatic extension clause if the club maintains its top-flight status. The swift dismissal of Moskal by owner Wojciech Kwiecien has drawn criticism from local analysts regarding the club's high managerial turnover.

Reports indicate that Kopic's arrival did not include his expected technical staff, specifically Răzvan Patriche and Florentin Petre. Patriche noted that while they had discussed working together, the Polish club officials reportedly declined the request to include them in the staff, opting to retain their own personnel instead.
