Wieczysta Kraków dismisses coach Kazimierz Moskal

Wieczysta Kraków has dismissed head coach Kazimierz Moskal following a 2-3 defeat in the Krakow derby against Cracovia. Moskal, who led the club to a historic first-ever promotion to the PKO BP Ekstraklasa, was the first coach to be sacked in the 2026/27 season.

Under Moskal’s leadership, the team secured only one victory and suffered three losses in their first four matches of the top-flight campaign. The decision follows weeks of tension, including public comments from club vice-president Sławomir Peszko regarding the coach's future. Assistant coach Marcin Broniszewski will also depart the club.

The club is currently searching for a successor to prepare for an upcoming match against Wisła Kraków. Reports suggest that former Lechia Gdańsk manager John Carver is among the primary candidates to take over the position.
