Wiedenbrück heritage association plans 2027 anniversary events

The Heimatverein Wiedenbrück-Reckenberg is preparing for significant upcoming milestones, most notably the 1,075th anniversary of Wiedenbrück in 2027. To mark the occasion, the association plans to host an exhibition at the Wiedenbrücker Schule Museum alongside various other events.

Following the unexpected resignation of Dr. Wilhelm Sprang last year, the association is currently seeking a new chairperson. While no successor has stepped forward yet, the organization remains functional with three board members and several advisors. Officials noted that the leadership role could potentially be split between two individuals to manage responsibilities.
