Wielkie Łąki opens new community center

A new community center has officially opened in Wielkie Łąki, one of the smallest villages in the Korfantów municipality. The modular building covers over 67 square meters and is designed to accommodate approximately 35 people in its main hall.

The facility is fully accessible to people with disabilities, featuring ramps and adapted sanitary facilities. It is equipped with energy-efficient technology, including LED lighting, a heat pump for heating and air conditioning, and mechanical ventilation with recuperation. The project also included landscaping, paved walkways, and four parking spaces.

The total cost of the works, including additional and replacement tasks, amounted to 660,120.62 PLN gross. The opening ceremony was attended by local officials, including Korfantów Mayor Janusz Wójcik, Deputy Director of the Municipal Cultural Center Piotr Bandurowski, and Wielkie Łąki Village Head Magdalena Barycka.
