Wielkopolska region allocates funds to rural women's groups

The Wielkopolska Voivodeship has announced the results of the third edition of the ‘Wielkopolska Supports Rural Housewives’ competition. As part of the ‘Wielkopolska Rural Renewal 2020+’ program, nearly 3 million PLN will be distributed among 519 organizations across the region.

From 765 submitted applications, selected projects can receive up to 6,000 PLN, covering up to 100 percent of eligible costs. The funding is intended for the purchase of gastronomic equipment, handicraft accessories, folk costumes, and organizational equipment such as branded tents.

In the Ture County area, two groups from the Dobra and Malanów municipalities will receive a combined total of approximately 12,000 PLN to purchase traditional costumes. In Konin County, 40 rural women's circles and associations were selected to receive support for equipment and supplies to enhance their social and community activities.
