Wielkopolski Związek Piłki Nożnej announces leadership changes

Łukasz Kaczmarek has resigned from his positions as a board member and Chairman of the Women's Football Department at the Wielkopolski Związek Piłki Nożnej (WZPN). Kaczmarek, who also serves as the president of Sparta Miejska Górka, had held his roles within the WZPN since late 2020.

Following the resignation, the WZPN board invoked its statutes to co-opt a new member. Jagoda Weiss, who received 95 votes during the 2025 General Assembly of Delegates, has been selected as the new Chairwoman of the Women's Football Department.

WZPN Vice President Paweł Mrozkowiak described Kaczmarek as a “great organizer” and noted his departure as a loss for football in the Wielkopolska region. Kaczmarek expressed gratitude to his colleagues for their support during his tenure.
