Wiener Börse: ATX index shows slight midday gains

The Vienna Stock Exchange (Wiener Börse) showed mixed performance during midday trading. The Austrian Traded Index (ATX) saw a slight increase of 0.09 percent, reaching 6,659 points.

Top performers in the index included AT&S, which rose by 6.06 percent to 152.3 euros, followed by Telekom Austria with a 2.51 percent gain and Uniqa with a 1.61 percent increase.

Earlier in the session, the ATX had started the week slightly lower, dropping 0.03 percent to 6,650.60 points. Market sentiment remains influenced by geopolitical uncertainties regarding the Strait of Hormuz and oil price volatility following recent regional tensions.
