OMV Petrom reports 68% profit increase in Q3 2026

OMV Petrom recorded a net profit of 2.256 billion lei for the third quarter of 2026, representing an approximately 68% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Consolidated sales revenues rose by 41%, driven by higher commodity prices and increased sales volumes of electricity and petroleum products.

The company reported improved operational performance across its three main business segments, with the most significant contributions coming from Refining and Marketing, as well as Exploration and Production. In response to these results, the group has accelerated its investment plans, which reached 2.891 billion lei for the quarter, a 51% increase year-on-year. OMV Petrom has also revised its annual assumptions regarding oil prices and refining margins.
