The nextbike bicycle sharing system in Wiener Neustadt is experiencing significant growth. Data from the first half of 2026 shows 29,975 rentals, representing a 19.44 percent increase compared to the same period in 2025.

Wiener Neustadt has become a major hub for the service in Lower Austria, accounting for nearly 15 percent of all rentals in the state. The most utilized locations include the main train station, the regional clinic, the student dormitory, and the main square.
