Wiener Tierschutzverein hosts pet care and inheritance event

The Wiener Tierschutzverein and Tierschutz Austria are hosting the ‘TesTIERtag’ on September 26 and October 1, 2026, in Vösendorf. The event is part of the ‘Week of the Good Testament’ and aims to educate the public on legal preparations for pet care.

Lectures will cover legal inheritance, power of attorney, and living wills. A specific focus will be placed on the ‘Garantiert Geborgen’ program, which provides information on how to ensure pets are cared for if an owner is temporarily or permanently unable to provide care.
