Wienerberger invests €3 million in Slovenian brick production

Wienerberger has invested three million euros into its production facility in Ormož, Slovenia, to enhance the manufacturing of ground bricks. The facility is noted for having one of the lowest CO2 emissions in Europe.

The Porotherm Profi brick and Dryfix extra polyurethane adhesive system have received Slovenian technical approval. This dry construction method is designed to address labor shortages and stricter energy requirements by enabling construction speeds up to three times faster than traditional mortar-based methods. The system allows for construction in temperatures as low as −5 °C and significantly reduces material waste.
