Wienerberger Scandinavia appoints Thomas Juul Jensen as Managing Director

Thomas Juul Jensen has assumed the role of Managing Director for Wienerberger Scandinavia, overseeing operations in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. He also serves as director for Egernsund Wienerberger and Komproment in Denmark.

Jensen aims to drive growth by focusing on the renovation market and green innovation. He noted that while new construction is sensitive to economic cycles, the renovation sector offers more stability due to the ongoing need to update existing building stock. To address rising climate requirements, the company is working on reducing material consumption, increasing circular resource use, and transitioning energy supplies from natural gas to certified biogas.

As a leader, Jensen intends to foster a culture of direct dialogue and short decision-making paths. He emphasized that innovation should be driven by engaged employees across all levels of the organization, stating that he wants to be challenged by his staff to uncover new growth opportunities.
