Wiesbaden-Dotzheim Kids Flea Market Opens with Limited Stalls

The traditional children’s flea market in Wiesbaden‑Dotzheim, part of the Dotzheimer Kerb, will take place on Sunday 9 August from 12:00 to 15:00 on Römergasse. Only about 50 selling spaces of three metres are available; vendors must register by email, pay a €15 fee and bring their own tables. The open‑air market offers second‑hand clothing, toys and baby items, complemented by live music, a traditional Frühschoppen, food stalls, a children’s carousel and other amusement attractions.

In nearby Tussenhausen, organizers from clubs and the community have staged a Krämermarkt with numerous regional stalls, an old‑timer display, a small‑animal exhibition and a range of children’s activities such as a built‑by‑volunteers carousel, a bouncy castle and a soap‑box‑car ramp. Vehicles on show include a 44‑hp Trike, a 1996 BMW 318i and a 1969 Siata Spider, while the animal area features chickens of the Brahma breed and rabbits. The market, which previously had only four stalls, now attracts many visitors thanks to the expanded programme.
