Wiesbaden offers family benefit counseling sessions
Wiesbaden families can access specialized counseling regarding state benefits through a collaborative initiative. The program is a cooperation between the Municipal Job Center, the Office for Social Work, and the Family Fund.
Sessions are held monthly at the Social Benefit and Job Center located at Dotzheimer Straße 99. During these events, families can receive information and apply directly for various supports, including the Education and Participation Package, child benefits, child supplements, housing allowances, and child maintenance advances.
The initiative aims to assist families who may be eligible for additional financial aid but are unaware of their entitlements. For some households, accessing these benefits can result in a monthly increase of several hundred euros.
