Wiesbaden police probe bridge projectile hit and apartment break‑in

On Saturday evening, 4 July 2026, a silver VW travelling on Bundesstraße 455 toward the A66 ramp in Wiesbaden was struck by an unknown object thrown from a bridge. The impact caused damage to the vehicle but no one was injured. Police said the perpetrators fled and asked anyone with information to call (0611) 345‑0.

The previous day, Friday, 3 July 2026, an unknown individual forced open a door and searched a flat in a multi‑family house on Carl‑von‑Ossietzky‑Straße in the Wiesbaden‑Klarenthal district. After the break‑in, the suspect escaped. Police again appealed for witnesses to contact the same number.

Both incidents are under investigation by the Wiesbaden police precinct.
