Wiesbadener THC loses both home matches in 2nd Tennis Bundesliga

The Wiesbadener Tennis Club (WTHC) played two consecutive home weekends in the 2nd Tennis Bundesliga and failed to secure any points. On July 24 the team faced TC Wolfsberg Pforzheim, pushing three matches to match‑tiebreaks before losing 4‑5 overall. Key singles player Jeffrey von der Schulenburg led 9‑7 in a tiebreak before dropping the set 11‑13, and Sandro Kopp fell narrowly in a three‑set duel.

Two days later WTHC met league leader FTC Palmengarten, featuring Argentine star Juan Manuel Cerúndolo. Despite strong efforts from Kai Wehnelt and von der Schulenburg, the club was defeated 2‑7, again losing crucial tiebreaks and finishing the weekend without points.
