Wiesloch Palatin to host Ronja the Robber's Daughter theater production

The Capitol Kindertheater will present a family theater production of Astrid Lindgren’s “Ronja Räubertochter” (Ronja the Robber's Daughter) at the Palatin in Wiesloch, Germany. The performance is scheduled for Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the Staufersaal.

Based on the well-known literary work, the story follows Ronja, the daughter of robber chief Mattis, and her friendship with Birk, the son of a rival robber chief. Despite the long-standing feud between their families, the two children form a bond that leads them to flee into the forest to spend the summer together. The production aims to explore themes of courage, solidarity, and overcoming prejudice through a fantastical world of forest creatures and adventures. The play is designed for families with children aged five and older.
