Wika launches Next-X pickleball paddle with player Nguyễn Đắc Tiến

Wika, a Vietnamese sports manufacturer, has officially launched the Wika x Đắc Tiến pickleball collection, featuring the Next-X paddle. The launch event took place on August 15 at the TM Pickleball court in Hanoi.

The Next-X paddle, branded with the slogan ‘The Next Drive’, was developed in collaboration with professional pickleball player Nguyễn Đắc Tiến. The design was inspired by Đắc Tiến’s signature powerful forehand drive. A former prominent tennis player, Đắc Tiến has successfully transitioned to professional pickleball, maintaining high DUPR ratings in both singles and doubles.

According to Trần Văn Cường, Wika’s pickleball category director, the development of the Next-X involved extensive research, testing, and practical evaluation to create a versatile paddle suitable for various playing styles, including dinking and resetting.
