Wild Kingdom documentary series premieres on Discovery and HBO Max

The BBC Studios documentary series ‘Wild Kingdom’ (Reino Selvagem) is set to premiere on August 27 on Discovery and HBO Max. The six-episode production was filmed over five years in the Nsefu region of South Luangwa National Park in Zambia.

The series follows the lives of four different predator families competing for territory, food, and leadership: Storm, a leader of a wild dog pack; Rita, a lioness; Olimba, a leopard; and Tenta, a hyena clan leader. The narrative focuses on the interconnectedness of these species and the challenges of motherhood, as each predator must teach their offspring how to hunt and survive in a competitive environment.

In addition to the television broadcast, the first episode will be available simultaneously on the Discovery YouTube channel.
