Wild Pink to release sixth album ‘Still Coming Down’

Wild Pink is set to release their sixth studio album, ‘Still Coming Down’, on August 21 via Fire Talk Records. The band, led by John Ross, recorded the project in a single week at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville, North Carolina, with producer Alex Farrar.

The new album follows 2024’s ‘Dulling the Horns’ and reflects personal shifts in Ross’s life, including his recovery from cancer and becoming a father. The title track, which features contributions from Meg Duffy and Landon George, is described by Ross as being about ‘overwhelming love’ for his son.

Other tracks on the album include ‘Box Store’, ‘Round of Applause at the End of the World’, and ‘Like Water’. The release is supported by an upcoming tour spanning North America and Europe, with scheduled dates in cities such as Philadelphia, Brussels, Amsterdam, London, and Paris.
