Wild Waves Theme and Water Park, a long-standing institution in Federal Way, is set to close permanently. The park's final scheduled event will be its Halloween-themed festival, Fright Fest, which concludes on November 1.

Fright Fest is a weekend-only exhibition running from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., featuring haunted houses, darkened roller coasters, and various seasonal attractions. The park has operated in the Pacific Northwest for nearly 50 years.
