Wild West Pioneers launches in Early Access on Steam

Wild West Pioneers, a new city-builder game developed by EmpireCraft Studios and published by Toplitz Productions, has launched in Early Access on Steam. Set during the 19th-century American Gold Rush, the game tasks players with leading a group of pioneers to transform a small camp into a functional Western settlement.

Gameplay mechanics involve managing essential resources such as food, water, and housing, while establishing complex production chains for tools and building materials. Players can utilize a research tree to unlock new buildings and mechanics, and explore the frontier using scouts to discover new locations and resources. The game also incorporates adventure elements through quests and expeditions, including a narrative centered on a search for a lost father.

The developers intend to remain in Early Access for approximately one year to refine the game based on player feedback. The planned roadmap includes updates such as ‘The Frontier Grows,’ which will introduce side quests and building upgrades, and ‘The Iron Peaks,’ which will expand the strategic map with new mountainous landscapes.
