Wildanet launches TiVo-powered Internet TV service in Cornwall

Wildanet, a full-fibre broadband provider based in Cornwall, has launched a ‘Powered by TiVo’ Internet TV service. This marks the first time such a service has been introduced in the United Kingdom.

The new offering provides customers with a single box for live television, catch-up services, and streaming platforms. Operating via Wildanet’s full-fibre network, the service is designed as a plug-and-play solution that does not require a TV aerial, a new smart television, or an engineer visit.

The platform includes Freely, which integrates free live and on-demand content with major streaming applications. It also features conversational voice search and personalized recommendations. The launch represents TiVo’s entry into the UK’s alternative network market and demonstrates how broadband providers can expand into branded entertainment services.
