Ukrainian drone strikes hit Wildberries warehouses across Russia

On 29 July 2026 Ukrainian long‑range drones attacked multiple Wildberries logistics centres in Russia, including a hub in the Ryazan region. Fires broke out and the company evacuated staff; at least seven warehouses were damaged, roughly 10 % of Wildberries’ storage capacity.

The strikes also hit the Ryazan oil refinery owned by Rosneft, sparking a fire inside the complex. The refinery processes about 5 % of Russia’s total oil‑processing capacity. Ryazan Governor Pavel Malkov said 45 drones were shot down over the region and six people were hospitalised.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the attacks are intended to increase economic pressure on Moscow and push it back to the negotiating table. In response, Wildberries is seeking about 100 000 m² of warehouse space in Kazakhstan to relocate part of its inventory. Russian authorities are monitoring the situation and have discussed possible state assistance for the retailer.
