Wildberries warehouses targeted by Ukrainian drone attacks in Russia

A series of drone attacks attributed to Ukraine has targeted Wildberries logistics centers across various regions of Russia. Since July 18, these strikes have resulted in deaths, injuries, and significant destruction of goods.

In a recent seven-day period, at least nine Wildberries warehouses were hit. Reports indicate at least nine deaths and substantial inventory losses. Specific attacks in Elektrostal, near Moscow, and Kotovsk in the Tambov region caused significant damage, including an incident in Kotovsk that left eight employees dead and 80 people injured.

The strikes have placed immense pressure on Russia’s largest e-commerce platform and its network of sellers. The destruction of goods and warehouse disruptions have reportedly removed more than a quarter of the company’s storage capacity from operation, affecting the ability of small merchants to fulfill orders and maintain stock.
