Greece is facing a period of high wildfire risk, with the General Secretariat for Civil Protection issuing Category 3 warnings across numerous regions. High-risk areas include Attica, Boeotia, Euboea, Phocis, Corinthia, Argolis, Achaea, Ilia, Messenia, the Dodecanese, Crete, and several islands.

In Euboea, a forest fire in the Partheni area of the Kythnos-Alivieri municipality triggered 112 emergency alerts and required a significant response involving 34 firefighters, 12 vehicles, and multiple aircraft.
