Wildlife conservation efforts in Croatia and memorial maintenance in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In Croatia, members of the Borovo Hunting Society and other hunters in the Vukovar-Srijem County are working to protect wildlife from extreme heat and drought. Jovan Ajduković, president of the Borovo Hunting Society, stated that they have installed eight water containers, ranging from 300 to 500 liters, across the hunting grounds. These stations are checked weekly to replenish water and include safety barriers to prevent young animals from becoming trapped in deep containers.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, local organizations and emergency services in Lopare have conducted a cleanup and maintenance operation at the Grabik memorial. The site commemorates a 1992 incident where a medical vehicle transporting wounded soldiers was attacked, resulting in the deaths of four individuals. Local officials emphasized the importance of maintaining the site to preserve the memory of those lost during the conflict.
