Wildlife SOS CEO interrogated for 27 hours by STSF
Kartick Satyanarayan, the co-founder and CEO of Wildlife SOS, has undergone more than 27 hours of interrogation by the Madhya Pradesh State Tiger Strike Force (STSF) in Shivpuri. The questioning took place over three consecutive days, from September 28 to September 30, with Satyanarayan spending approximately nine hours each day answering questions and providing information to investigating officers.
The interrogation follows a direct order from the Supreme Court of India issued on September 21, 2026, mandating cooperation with state investigators. The STSF, a specialized unit under the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department, is leading the ongoing investigation into wildlife-related matters.
In an official statement, Satyanarayan affirmed his commitment to the legal process, stating, “We have fulfilled and are continuing to fulfil our obligations in supporting the investigation by providing the responses and information sought by the authorities.” He added that the organization remains dedicated to assisting government agencies in the fight against wildlife crime and uncovering unlawful acts against endangered species.
