Wildlife worker dies in crocodile attack at Papua New Guinea park

A wildlife worker has died following a crocodile attack at Adventure Park in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. The incident occurred on a Saturday during a feeding session while the man was working inside a fenced enclosure.

Eyewitnesses reported that the crocodile attacked the worker as he attempted to feed it, dragging him into the water. Witnesses described a harrowing scene where the animal held the man's legs for over an hour. Despite attempts by onlookers to assist the victim with an iron rod, the man succumbed to his injuries at 3 Mile General Hospital on Sunday morning.

Security guards at the park reportedly did not have firearms available during the encounter.
