Polish volleyball star Wilfredo Leon shared a heartfelt letter from his neighbors in Lublin on social media following his team's victory in the Volleyball Nations League. The neighbors congratulated him on winning the gold medal, expressing admiration for his talent, hard work, and commitment, and noting their pride in having such an athlete as a neighbor.

Following a brief rest after the team's return from China, Leon announced he is beginning training in Zakopane. The Polish national team, led by coach Nikola Grbić, is currently preparing for the upcoming European Championships in September, where they will aim to defend their title.
