Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland set for semifinals in AEW's Owen Hart Foundation tournament
Will Ospreay secured his place in the AEW Forbidden Door event by defeating National Champion Mark Davis in a chaotic semifinal of the 2026 Owen Hart Foundation tournament. His victory earns him a spot in the final, where he will meet the winner of the upcoming Brody King vs. Swerve Strickland bout.
Swerve Strickland, who is also a semifinalist, will face Brody King on the special Summer Blockbuster edition of Dynamite. Strickland has said he is pursuing the Owen Hart Cup “by any means necessary” to increase his power within AEW. The winner of the Strickland‑King match will travel to Forbidden Door to contest the tournament final against Ospreay.
