Will Ospreay discusses neck injury recovery and AEW title defenses

AEW wrestler Will Ospreay has detailed his recovery from a severe neck injury that required surgery in September. Ospreay noted that he first experienced symptoms, such as numbness in his hand, during the 2024 Continental Classic. He described the experience as daunting, stating that the uncertainty regarding his physical appearance and mobility after surgery kept him awake at night.

Following his recovery, Ospreay captured the AEW World Championship at Wembley Stadium by defeating Kenny Omega. His championship reign faces immediate challenges; David Finlay is scheduled to compete in an AEW World Championship Eliminator match against Ospreay on the special edition of Dynamite, Rebel Heart. Additionally, Jon Moxley has been revealed as Ospreay’s opponent for the upcoming All Out event.
