Kentucky Coach Will Stein Shares Bold Vision at SEC Media Days

Will Stein, hired as Kentucky's first‑time head football coach after three years as Oregon's offensive coordinator, addressed the SEC Media Days in Tampa. He said his confidence in turning the program around comes "because of me, to be honest," adding that he knows "what it takes" at the highest levels and will recruit aggressively across the country.

Stein emphasized building a strong connection among players and staff, accountability on and off the field, and a tough, mentally resilient program. He highlighted that 45 newcomers have already embraced the culture and that the team will focus on elite preparation, classroom performance, and relentless effort throughout the season.
