William Saliba visits family in Cameroon during injury recovery

Arsenal centre‑back William Saliba, sidelined by an injury sustained in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, spent his rehabilitation break in Douala, Cameroon. The France international travelled to his maternal homeland to reunite with his grandmother and extended family, emphasizing his strong personal ties to the country.

During the visit Saliba met celebrated Cameroonian football legend Samuel Eto’o and distributed Arsenal shirts to local fans and community members.
