Williams F1 Team Targets Championship Level by 2030
Team principal James Vowles has laid out a long‑term plan for Williams to return to championship contention by 2030. He said the Grove‑based outfit will overhaul its engineering, simulation, aerodynamics, manufacturing and other operations with standardized processes and modern tools, aiming to use resources more efficiently and improve consistency.
Vowles noted early signs of progress, with the team quickly recovering from winter‑break setbacks and moving back into points‑scoring positions within a few races. The comprehensive restructuring, he explained, touches virtually every area of the organization and is intended to build solid foundations for sustained competitiveness beyond the 2024 season.
