Williams Racing halves annual financial loss in 2025

Williams Racing reported a significant reduction in financial losses for the 2025 fiscal year, following its most successful on-track season since 2016. According to documents filed with Companies House, the team recorded a loss of £25.115 million after tax, a 50.32 percent decrease from the £49.896 million loss reported in 2024.

The team’s improved performance, which saw it climb to fifth in the constructors' championship from ninth the previous year, contributed to higher prize money from Formula One Management. Turnover increased to £243.976 million, up from £179.776 million in 2024. Notable driver achievements included Carlos Sainz securing podium finishes in Azerbaijan and Qatar, as well as a third-place finish in the United States Grand Prix Sprint.

Despite the reduced losses and increased revenue, the team’s cash reserves declined from £130.077 million to £98.595 million. Director Matthew Savage stated that the loss was “in line with expectations and the group's strategy to continue investing in all areas of the business to drive both on-track and commercial performance in pursuit of success in the medium and long-term.”
