Williams sisters secure wildcard for Wimbledon 2026 women's doubles

Serena, who returned to competition in June 2026 with matches at Queen’s Club and the Berlin Open, said her eight‑year‑old daughter Olympia encouraged her to play with Venus: “My daughter Olympia told me I should play with Venus… she is very smart and wise.” Venus has been back on tour since summer 2025 after a 16‑month injury lay‑off. Their partnership could allow them to chase a seventh Wimbledon doubles crown, a record they have yet to equal.
