Willow Nightingale Aims for AEW Women’s World Title at Redemption, Targets Mercedes Moné for All In
Willow Nightingale returned from a brief injury on the July 11 episode of AEW Collision, winning a Casino Gauntlet match that secured her as the number‑one contender for the AEW Women’s World Championship. She will face current champion Thekla at the Redemption event on July 26, with the victor set to meet the Owen Hart Cup winner Mercedes Moné at the All In pay‑per‑view.
In her promo, Nightingale confronted Thekla, recalling the attack that left both women stunned when Thekla smashed Nightingale’s head with the title belt. She warned that Thekla misread her smile as weakness and vowed that her shoulder injury, heartbreak, and fear will not stop her from leaving Redemption as champion and challenging Moné at All In.
