Willson Contreras and Luis Arráez rise in MLB Latin hitter rankings
Venezuelan baseball players Willson Contreras and Luis Arráez have risen in MLB's weekly rankings of the best performing Latin American hitters. Contreras, playing first base for the Boston Red Sox, moved up to second place in the ranking, trailing only Yordan Álvarez. Contreras has recorded a .281/.390/.526 offensive line with 26 home runs and 78 RBIs, marking the most productive offensive stretch of his career.
