Willson Contreras nears Red Sox return with rehab assignment
Boston Red Sox slugger Willson Contreras is nearing a return from the injured list. After missing time since August 30 due to a hamstring injury, Contreras is expected to begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Portland this Friday.
