Willy-Brandt-Gesamtschule receives 1,750 Euro for new schoolyard seating

The Willy-Brandt-Gesamtschule in Castrop-Rauxel will receive new seating for its schoolyard following a donation from the Lensing Media Hilfswerk. On Thursday, October 8, the foundation presented a symbolic check for 1,750 Euro to the school's support association.

The funds are designated to purchase durable and weather-resistant furniture to improve the quality of the schoolyard. The goal is to transform the area into a space for breaks, relaxation, and social interaction, as well as a location for outdoor lessons, self-study, and group work.

Representatives from the school, including principal Michael Krimpmann and students Leni Wächter and Levin Urbaniak, participated in the presentation ceremony.
