Willy EC addresses alleged rape investigation by authorities

Willy EC, a police officer and social media content creator, has addressed the ongoing investigation by the Prosecutor's Office regarding an alleged rape complaint. After several days of inactivity on social media, he released a video stating his intention to cooperate fully with authorities to clarify the events.

Following legal advice, he declined to provide specific details about the incident to avoid interfering with the investigation. He characterized the situation as “a show” and suggested he understands the motives behind the complaint, though he did not provide evidence for these claims.

The complaint was filed on September 11, 2026, following an alleged encounter in Quito. According to the complainant's mother, the incident occurred after the young woman and the officer met and traveled to the El Bosque sector.
