Willy Hernangomez declares lifelong Real Madrid support

Basketball player Willy Hernangomez has expressed his continued loyalty to Real Madrid ahead of his upcoming match with the club. After spending three seasons with Barcelona, the 32-year-old center recently moved to Unicaja.

Hernangomez, who developed in the Real Madrid youth system, stated that he remains a ‘Madridista’ and will always support the club. He noted that while he is now playing for Unicaja and coming from Barcelona, he does not expect hostility from Real Madrid fans and feels the intensity of the rivalry is different than in the past.

Following a period of struggling to meet expectations at Barcelona, Hernangomez has shown strong form in the preseason with Unicaja, recording double-doubles in recent performances. He expressed increased confidence and physical readiness as the Liga Endesa season begins.
