Willy Moloto resigns as Polokwane City head coach

Polokwane City head coach Willy Moloto has resigned from his position at the club. The decision follows a period of ill health that has kept him away from the team for nearly two months.

Moloto reportedly collapsed during a league match against AmaZulu in September, leading to a hospital stay. Although he briefly returned to work following a period of sick leave, he has now decided to step down to focus on his health. He stated that he chose to resign to put the team first.

Assistant coach Mkhuseli Sentane has been guiding the side during Moloto's absence. Polokwane City currently sits 11th in the league standings, having secured one win in nine matches.
