Wilminktheater and Muziekcentrum upgrade lighting with Robe LED technology

The Wilminktheater and Muziekcentrum in Enschede, Netherlands, have upgraded their concert hall lighting by installing 16 Robe T1 Profile and 16 T1 PC moving lights. The new equipment, supplied by distributor Controllux, replaces lighting systems that had been in use for approximately 20 years.

This upgrade makes the Muziekcentrum the first orchestra venue in the Netherlands to utilize moving LED spotlights for orchestral performances. The Phion orchestra, which frequently uses the venue, will benefit from the new technology, which was selected based on requirements for high brightness, accurate color temperature, and silent operation. While the lights are optimized for orchestral needs, they also provide additional functionality for pop concerts held at the venue.
