Wim Wenders documentary on Peter Zumthor to premiere in Venice

Director Wim Wenders is set to premiere the 3D documentary ‘From Inside Out – The Architecture of Peter Zumthor’ at the Venice International Film Festival on September 6, 2026. The film, which has been 14 years in the making, features executive producer Brad Pitt.

The documentary explores the work of Pritzker Prize-winning Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, ranging from his early projects like the St. Benedict's chapel to the recently completed $724 million David Geffen Galleries at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). The film utilizes 3D technology to capture the immersive nature of Zumthor's architectural spaces.
