Wimbledon 2026 broadcast limited to Amazon Prime Video in Germany
The 139th Wimbledon Championships will take place in London from 29 June to 12 July 2026. In Germany, exclusive broadcasting rights have been secured by Amazon's Prime Video service through 2027, meaning all matches—including Centre Court finals—are available only via the streaming platform. Traditional free‑to‑air channels such as ARD, ZDF, Sky or Eurosport will not carry the tournament. German viewers must have a Prime subscription (starting at €8.99 per month) or use a 30‑day trial to watch the event.
Top players expected to contend include defending champions Jannik Sinner and Iga Świątek, as well as Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz, Aryna Sabalenka and others. Ticket access remains via the official public ballot, on‑site queue, or hospitality packages, but broadcast coverage remains strictly online in Germany.
