Alex de Minaur reaches Wimbledon fourth round as Iga Swiatek suffers upset

Australian No. 6 Alex de Minaur defeated American Zach Svajda 6‑2, 5‑7, 6‑2, 6‑4 to secure a place in the Wimbledon round of 16 for a fourth time. The win keeps de Minaur on track for a first Grand Slam quarter‑final appearance.

Defending champion Iga Swiatek was eliminated in the third round, losing 7‑6(9), 6‑2 to Philippines’ 29th seed Alexandra Eala, who became the first Filipino woman to reach the second week of a Grand Slam.
