Wimby Fest returns to Caserta for environmental activism

The Wimby Fest is scheduled to return to Caserta from September 11 to 13, 2026. Organized by the Stop Biocidio movement and various Campanian collectives, the festival aims to provide a platform for social activism and environmental advocacy regarding the Terra dei Fuochi region.

The event will be held at the former Macrico site, now known as Campo Laudato Sì’, located in Piazza IV Novembre. The festival program includes afternoon activities such as artisan stalls, workshops, yoga, and projections, followed by evening live music concerts.

Political discussions are a central component of the festival. Scheduled debates will address opposition to the construction of Repatriation Centers (CPR) and the management of common goods.
