Wimereux reports successful 2026 cultural and tourism season

The town of Wimereux has concluded a busy 2026 season characterized by significant tourism and cultural activity. During the summer, 328 visitors participated in guided tours to explore the station's built heritage.

Additionally, local media highlighted the town's popularity, with Le Monde noting that the Côte d’Opale region saw high attendance due to heatwaves in other parts of France.

Upcoming events include the Heritage Days on September 19 and 20, themed ‘Heritage in Peril: Revive, Resist, Reimagine’. The event will feature a photo exhibition by Daniel Poissonnier in the church and various guided tours.
